The 7 DEADLY SINS are brought to you this Saturday by joint host colleges Alcuin and Goodricke, promising to be the “best late licence of the term!” Declared “Dark Chocolate’s Evil Brother,” this event brings together two of our well-loved campus societies, Fusion and Platinum, and will spread itself across McQ’s and Goodricke Hall, with a separate lounge area “complete with sexy dancers!”
The 4 DJs in situ to bring musical mayhem to the crowds will include DJ Thuggles whose mad mash-up choones “draw on all genres from hip-hop and soul to Disney,” and leading Dance DJ, DJ Fletch who boasts having shared a tour with the legend that is Lisa Lashes. He will be performing his set, with guests, from 10.30pm showcasing sounds from around the country. Going by their facebook, the organisers have got it all worked out:
“Lust ... Fulfil your deepest desires. Flirt your way around (But play safe!) Gluttony... with such cheap drinks, one is never enough! Greed... you'll want every bit that this party has to offer Sloth... sit around relaxing in our lounge area Wrath (anger)... at yourself that is... if you miss this event! Envy... is to dream of having what isn't yours, and to show off what is. Flaunt what you have!! Pride... take pride in the best that York Uni has to offer”
Clearly a new excuse to dig out those tridants and don your horns, the campus drinks offers you know and love will be available throughout the night, including Carlsberg and Tetley cans, shots for £1 and a special £1 “Sinners Cocktail” if you buy a £1 wristband on the door. As well as this, glow sticks will be on sale in their hundreds! Tickets are available from Your:Shop and Vanbrugh Stalls in Week 2 (£4 adv. £4.50 o.t.d.)
