Having already raised more money than last year's RAG week, spirits were high as colleges, each sporting their own unique costume theme, met in the centre of York this morning. The Yorker was there to revel in the celebrations as students paraded through the streets asking the public to donate to charity. The banners flew high, the samba band played loud, and hands dug deep into pockets.
