The majority of the people who make up The Yorker are students from the University of York. The project has brought together a wide variety of people from various degree disciplines and various years.

A self-confessed TV fanatic, and longtime obsessive ‘Lost’ fan, Simon has been writing for the Yorker since December 2009. He was elected as one of the Film and TV editors in June 2010.
James joined The Yorker in January 2010 as an arts reporter, before becoming Video Editor and briefly Games Editor.
He won "Newcomer of the Year" for 09/10.
He is currently Vice-Chair of Filmmaking Society.
David Pocock was a regular writer for several departments of The Yorker before launching 'Double Take' in March 2010; The Yorker's satirical section. He is now the editor of Double Take.
