Halifax College is one of the newest and biggest colleges at the University of York. The College community consists of undergraduate and graduate students who are presently in residence or have been in residence at the College, together with staff working within the College and invited members from outside the College.
The resident student community at Halifax College is presently comprised of 1013 undergraduate and postgraduate members who live in 8 courts - St. Lawrence, Ingram, Irwin, Lindley, Wood, Younger, Ainsty and Hickleton - together with 23 family members in Garrowby Way and McHugh Court. This is the residential housing surrounding Halifax College.
