The Sidings Hotel & Restaurant was founded in 1985 by an ex-railwayman with a passion and enthusiasm for all things connected with Railways and is based around 5 restored Pullman-style railway carriages. The restaurant’s conservatory looks directly onto one of the fastest and most impressive stretches of track in the land, the York to Thirsk run.
