Without a doubt the cheapest place to learn to ski and snowboard is at University, and the club has something to offer to every level of (non-) skier & (non-) boarder alike. For the complete novice, our subsidised trips to the amazing Castleford Snowdome provide ample opportunity to catch the bug. Recreational sessions and jump nights in Xscape allow intermediate and advanced levels skiers and boarders the chance to hone their skills and get some air before we hit the mountains.
We race in the Kings and BUSC leagues all over the country and get to meet (and banter) loads of other uni teams. We also participate in the Roses Skiing races.
The highlight of the year, of course, is the amazing easter holiday to France. We have taken hundreds of students to Les Arcs, Val Thorens and Tignes and the powder-filled pistes are only outdone by our legendary apres-ski antics!
