Tenteleni (meaning 'do it yourself' in SiSwati) is a charitable organisation that sends students from UK universities to sub-Saharan Africa in order to work as teaching assistants and raise awareness of HIV/AIDS.
The University Co-ordinators at York hold a series of presentation evenings in the autumn term to encourage to students apply the following January/February. Interviews take place soon after.
