Good good, so here we go again - a few years ago it was Jack Straw and now it's Sarkozy across the river. Okay, we're oppressed, I get it! Cheers for the reminder we don't get every day... You'd think the constant furore over the hijab would at some point calm down but if it's not on the front pages it's lurking at the back, somewhere between the crossword and sudoku (or, for you ‘Sun’ avids, between the soap opera and 'It's the Business', their credible business section). Following France’s admission into the debate, in my pitiful attempts to change the world's perception of Islam one Yorker article at a time, I'm continuing with an issue very close to my heart. And, also, head.
