12.02 UYBC President Jillian Tongue is furious - the club have just found out that the finish line is at an angle across the river. It has been confirmed that no results will be overturned despite the breakdown in communication.
11.56 This marks the end of the races worth points towards the Roses total. Lancaster ends the day with 16 points, York with 4.

11.54 Dane Moore said of the last race: "We were winning until a wide line took us out of the stream. We did our pushes too early." Will Lawrence added: "The line cost the race."
Senior VIII Men - Lancaster Wins
11.47 The two crews ere level at the start. Lancaster then pushed away, but York managed to get ahead. The effort however left the York crew tired which allowed Lancaster to retake the lead and win by a length.
Senior VIII Women - Lancaster Wins
11.40 Lancaster women win by a lenght and a half.
11.05 York has in its possession a photograph that shows York are the winners in the Novice Mens IV. However the umpire has given the victory to Lancaster. York are taking the photograph to the umpire to appeal.
Novice Mens IV - Lancaster Wins
11.00 Novice Mens IV: York racing lower than Lancaster but is "too close to call" Lancaster are celebrating but our correspondent isn't sure.
Womens Novice IV - Lancaster Wins
10.55 Womens novice IV: In a very close finish, Lancaster pulled away to win by 1 length.
Senior IV Men - York Wins
10.37 York men win by 1 and half lengths with a four that never raced before together.
10.28 We're told marshalls are having a go at the York crews for not being on start line when they're supposed to be despite not being told when to be there.
Senior IV Women - Lancaster Wins
10.20 First results are in: A resounding victory for Lancaster's Senior IV Women, winning by approximately 3 lengths.
9.57 Chancellor of Lancaster gave a speech to launch not only the boat race but all of the Roses competition. Olly Ward said: "It was really well received, everyone gathered round and gave it a clap at the end."
9.53 Conditions are good, the river is nice and flat. However, the rain is putting a bit of a downer on the event - not that it's affecting the rowers in any way.
9.50 There's a fair crowd there that have come to support Lancaster.
