The larger part of Wednesday's BUCS games were indoor affairs, which was a blessing in view of this week's awful weather. Badminton Men's and Women's 1sts were far from feeling the chill, finding a hot streak in two convincing victories versus Sunderland and Huddersfield.
Unfortunately Netball 1sts appear to have caught the cold, as their promotion bid suffered a severe case of frostbite in an away loss at Sunderland. The 2nds and 3rds faired better with accomplished victories that will leave President Brunskill feeling better.
Great wins for Men's Volleyball, Squash and Table Tennis rounded off a positive afternoon that will make teams eager to know what lies behind the next door of the BUCS advent calendar.
