Nap: Phil Mickelson to win Buick Invitational 12/1 (Betfair)
The most notorious lefty in the world will take on a weak field at Torrey Pines as he returns to much loved territory. Mickelson is a three-time winner here and armed with a new driver to reduce his slice, should bounce back from last week's driving woes. Lurking down the field ominously is Retief Goosen at 32 who may be a threat, with a game well suited to this setup, but Phil will definitely shorten from 13 and will be worth a lay. 2pt win.
Seano's Shouts: Spurs vs Arsenal to have over 3.5 goals at 3.55 and Man U to next concede at Blackburn 6.4 (Betfair)
The North London derby seems to keep providing thrillers in recent times, mostly down to the fact they both leak goals for fun. This season has already seen their 4-4 Emirates Epic, and expect something similar as a fully fit duo of Adebayor and van Persie eye up Assou-Ekotto et al. 3.55 is worth a little investment. 1pt win
Manchester United are inappropriately juxtaposed to the above in this column, as Vidic and Ferdinand head one of the most solid defences in the world. Their goalkeeper van der Sar has broken the record amount of minutes played without conceding and United surge ahead of the chasing pack. Away at West Ham this is unlikely to change, where the much hailed Cole will struggle against a world class defence. Then United face Fulham at Old Trafford who at one time had four consecutive 0-0 draws away from home. 6.4 is a good price that will definitely shorten for a lay after the weekend. 1pt win
Horse: Helen's vision EW at 20/1 for the 14:00 at Newbury (Skybet)
This six-year-old mare may have only just made the grade for Saturday's race, but should run well, being a three-time winner at Newbury in the past. There is a question mark about whether the race will go ahead in the recent freakish weather but Skybet and Betfair both offer money back for non runners so this is not a concern. 1/2 pt EW
Outsider: England to beat the West Indies 4-0 at 10 (Betfair)
As I write this England, lie 294/8 with Prior just having been dismissed, but this seemingly paltry first innings total should not be misunderstood. It is easy to get carried away in the proliferation of subcontinental cricket of the winter months and think 450 is a must, but in the West Indies 300 is not that bad. England should be able to recover from such a position and after winning the first test, 9/1 will collapse. So back England's batting line up, which may have Owais Shah to bolster the top six next test, to deliver and put pay to a distinctly average West Indian attack. 4-0 Is a real possibility for a recovering England side. 1pt win
