Nap: Gabriel Agbonlahor to be in top four Premier League scorers 5.7
Readers of my column will remember my tip of the Villa ace to be top English scorer, which can now be laid at 8 points to nothing, but I think he is now great value in this market as well with O'Neill's men shooting up the table. He currently has 10 goals, four behind Anelka, one behind Robinho and Ronaldo. The injury prone nature of Torres, Adebayor, Van Persie counts them out of the frame from the big five teams and Agbonlahor is going to play in a successful attacking side week in week out. I think 5.7 will have to shorten in the next few weeks. 3pt Win
Seano's Shouts: Chelsea to be in top 3 at 1/2 and England to win the next test 3.75
As the news comes in that Hiddink will take over the reigns at Chelsea for the remainder of the season, one cannot help but think their form will pick up. Growing malcontent in the dressing room rendered Scolari impotent in the quest to turn things around, but Chelsea have quality players, and there is no doubt that they will secure third when the steam runs out of Villa's season. I do not normally back odds on shots but I think this is still long. 2pt win
Last week England were well and truly embarrassed by an admittedly good performance from poor opposition. This has happened before to England in the Caribbean, against a far better line up. In 1994 England were bowled out for 51 at Port of Spain, with Ambrose and Walsh sharing 9 wickets between them, but the next game is what England should draw hope from. In Barbados, England won by 208 runs with Angus Fraser taking 8/75 in the first innings and Alec Stewart scoring consecutive hundreds. Shah must come in for Bell and Swann in for Panesar and England should show their true worth against a low-ranked West Indies. 1pt Win
Horse: State of Play at 33/1 for the Grand National
The forfeiting stages for Aintree have just been announced with no shocks or great surprises, but it does draw our attention to the antepost market. State of Play comes in at good weight at under 11st and trainer Evan Williams is looking to preserve his energy for the big race. I think 33/1 will shorten as State of Play runs well in antecedent races. 1pt win
Outsider: Jim Furyk to win at Pebble Beach at 20
The man with a swing as conventional as Alex Lacy's definition of democracy makes his 2009 debut at the AT&T. After taking January off to recover from a long 26 event campaign last year, Furyk will be one of the freshest players this week. He has a great record at Pebble Beach, with his all round consistency and low ball flight conquering the erratic and gusty conditions. Favourites Mickelson and Singh are in shaky form and I expect Furyk to run close. 1pt win
