3-1 Varsity Victory for York Netball Teams
Last Wednesday saw all three netball teams emerge victorious against their arch-rivals York St John.
Netball 1sts beat Bradford 56-4 to significantly increase what could be a crucial goal difference in their race for promotion.
York Netball 2nds claimed their first win of the season last week, as they beat Bradford 1sts 44-7.
Despite being three BUSA leagues below Durham, York showed their grit and determination last week by giving them a game unreflective of the final score line, a 48-21 defeat.
The Netball 1sts hopefully gave a sign of what we'll see at Roses this year by claiming a 36-28 victory over our fierce rivals Lancaster, while the 2nds also won 35-27.
Netball 1sts beat Newcastle 31-23 to continue their unbeaten BUSA run.
