Great reporting.
Nice to see the Yorker and URY teaming up and also URY's News Team getting their hard-work appreciated...
I completely agree with what Tom Langrish has said in the interview about this 'clique'. Take Tom Scott for example, he was the candidate who had almost no link with YUSU, and yet now he works closely, gets along with and is very much a part of this apparent 'clique' now. The sabs have to work close together and I think to label this as a negative thing would be wrong because it can only be positive to have those running things to work well as a team.
My ideal President is someone who has proven that they have worked for York and are running because they have ideas and skills that would be beneficial to students. The President is the person that can set the agenda for YUSU and I for one don't want to take a gamble on someone who has little experience in this area. Charles Bushby and Grant Bradley are both good candidates, but at the end of the day neither of them have a track record of working to promote York university and I can say this while having no link to any of the candidates running.
Hopefully the student electorate will make the right choice and elect someone who has experience.
I agree entirely - which is why I voted for Tom Langrish and Lewis Bretts.
