The reconstruction will be filmed tomorrow and it is possible it will be shown on the next episode of Crimewatch, on 2nd June. North Yorkshire Police hope the reconstruction will lead to new witnesses coming forward.
It is likely that the reconstruction will feature CCTV footage that the police released on Friday. The footage showed two men that the police would like to identify, and can be found on the York Press website.
A possible sighting of Claudia the morning she is believed to have disappeared will also probably feature in the reconstruction. As revealed on 25th April, a witness told the police she had seen a woman who looked like Claudia stood with a man wearing a dark hooded top on Melrosegate bridge at 5.35am on Thursday 19th March.
Over the weekend, a three minute film about Claudia was shown at York Racecourse, in an attempt to encourage racegoers to come forward with any information they might have.
Anyone who has information to help the inquiry is urged to phone North Yorkshire Police on 0845 60 60 247 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
