A group of York students has won the opportunity to have their very own I-phone application developed after winning The App Challenge final, held at the Ron Cooke Hub on Wednesday, January 18.

A flood caused by a heating system “failure” forced the university IT services to shut down many essential systems on Sunday night, causing problems for many students on the eve of their exams and assignment due-dates.
Robert, aged 20, is described as 6ft 2 inches tall and was last seen wearing denim jeans, a black pin-striped shirt and slip-on shoes. He was last seen near Ziggy's on Saturday at around 12:35 at night. He walks home along Heslington Lane.
The latest CCTV footage suggests that Robert visited the Ackhorne Inn pub, Montey's and The Priory on the same night.
Police have combed the river and launched an air search and are extremely concerned about his welfare and safety.
Police have asked a friend to spread the message: "We need to establish if Robert had any concerns or problems that he may have disclosed. We need to establish if he had spoken of any intention to travel or take leave without informing friends or family? Has Robert tried to make contact with anybody since? We need to establish what nightclubs/pubs Robert frequented and what was his usual route home after a night out? Does anybody have any other information where he may have gone to on this night? Information will be treated in the strictest confidence."
Robert is going into his 3rd year of studying chemistry at York. The Facebook group dedicated to finding him has over 1100 members already and messages extending thoughts to family and friends are pouring in.
