The Christmas TV schedules are a terrifying prospect for the unprepared. Unless you’ve set aside an entire day to sift through the behemoth that is the Xmas Radio Times (which also makes for a decent draft excluder, I’ve found), the sheer volume of yuletide programmes can overcome even the most dedicated telly addict.
