Langwith Nudes: You will submit!

Art and the Human Body
Art and the Human Body
Friday, 14th March 2008
Are you a creative person? Would you like to help out with the most exciting art project of the year?

Next term two exhibitions will go ahead entitled Art and Education and Art and the Community. The theme for submissions is Art and the Human Body. Life drawing, sculpture, abstract, fine painting; we want it all!

These exhibitions look to be very exciting and will incorporate facets and people from all across the university. Fostering links between societies is ultimately what we wish to achieve so if your society may have something to contribute, please get in touch and we’ll endeavour to incorporate your suggestions into the exhibitions where appropriate.

So when you’re bored of revision, bored of whiney parents, bored of Easter Bunnies and baby lambs, turn your hand to something worthwhile and get creative for this brilliant project.

Printing, drawing, painting and moulding; everything will be considered so that we can make this something really special for everyone to enjoy and experience.

The deadline for submissions is negotiable but we are aiming to have all work in by the second week of the Summer term.

The exhibitions will take place for four weeks approximately from mid May to mid June. These will culminate in an Arts Day which will be in celebration of these exhibitions and bring together everybody interested and involved.

Happy painting!
