To kick-start International Week, this Monday saw an evening filled with various cultural presentations from around the globe. Seven countries performed for prizes, and competition was steep.

1st place winner: Japan

 The Japanese Society's high-energy dance left the "oni" unable to resist joining in!

2nd place winner: Kazakhstan

 The Kazakhstan Society presented viewers with a unique historical story told through dance.

3rd Place winner: Malaysia

 The Malaysian Society perform the traditional Joget dance.

China not only read a poem, but display it written in intricate Calligraphy too, accompanied by a beautiful Chinese song.

This festive opening night for the International Week will be one to remember, full of so many wonderful performances! And the fun didn't end there; the night continued with dancing and partying, international style.
