The highlight of the week is undoubtedly the titanic clash between Derwent first and Vanbrugh firsts with all sorts of outcomes still possible. Let The Yorker try to make sense of it all for you.

Derwent 1sts – must draw to secure top spot. Can still crash out of the Cup if they lose by three and Goodricke win by nine.

Vanbrugh 1sts – must equal Goodricke’s result to go through unless Goodricke win by six more goals.

Goodricke 2nds – must better Vanbrugh’s result or win by six more than them. Could win the group by benefiting from a 12 goal swing with Derwent.

Langwith 2nds – if they score, can lose by two, if they lose by three and do not score, they are out of the Plate.

Halifax 3rds – must rely upon Langwith result.

Derwent 2nds – must win to have any chance of going through. If they win and Halifax lose, they win group. If they win by 10 and Halifax draw, they win group.

Wentworth 1sts – must win to stand any chance of going through.

Vanbrugh 3rds – OUT.
