With Valentine’s weekend fast approaching, Zakar Theatre presents Philip Ridley’s, “''The Fastest Clock in the Universe''”, from the 12th – 14th February in the Drama Barn.

Set in a dingy East London warehouse Cougar prepares for his 19th birthday celebration. He plans to seduce his new friend, 16-year-old schoolboy Foxtrot, with the help of his eccentric bird-obsessed housemate, Captain Tock. Things get out of hand when Foxtrot’s pregnant fiancée turns up unexpectedly to reveal Cougar’s deepest secret – his true age. As Cougar desperately reaches for a knife he is interrupted by Captain Tock who recounts a strange story. Straddling the realms of both urban decay and magic realism, Captain Tock's fairytale tells of the fastest clock in the universe, love...
