Ben joined the team in January 2008 as a news writer. He was elected Deputy News Editor in November 2008, and in February 2009 he moved up to News Editor. After eight months as News Editor, Ben successfully ran for Deputy Editor in October 2009. He graduated the University of York with a 2:1 in July 2010, and in October he was appointed as a Non-Operational Director of The Yorker.
