The pensioner singles reviewer makes a comeback and we interview Asobi Seksu followed by more new music with "Ear to the Ground".

The eighth edition of the official Yorker Artscast is now available to download to iTunes. Alternatively CLICK HERE to listen now.

We are featured on the iTunes Store so simply type "Yorker Artscast" into the iTunes Store search bar and click on subscribe.

Alternatively you can subscribe to the podcast manually by opening iTunes. Click on "Advanced" on the menu bar and select "Subscribe to Podcast" then copy the following URL into the address box and hit subscribe:

Or if you're too lazy to do that click here to listen now.

What's in this edition?

  • Some pearls of wisdom as one of York's pensioners gives us her opinion of this weeks singles.
  • A cracking interview with Asobi Seksu.
  • More new music with our regular feature "Ear to the Ground".

Watch out for us as we travel around town and campus recording features for future editions. If you have any suggestions, would like us to do a feature on something you're working on, or would like to get involved in reporting for the Artscast then why not kill two birds with one stone and email both of us at podcasts@theyorker.co.uk

Oh, and please leave us comments at the bottom of this page telling us what was hot and what was not in this weeks Artscast.

The last edition of Yorker Artscast before the Christmas holidays is released on Monday 10th December so check back then to download it.

Although you don't get to choose the pictures they are all taken from your facebook profile so indirectly you do. My conscience is clear
And if I remember rightly I spent the whole of that ride being squashed against the side by you!
