Choose Your Own Review: One Night Only at Fibbers

One Night Only
Monday, 3rd March 2008
On a chilly evening in the almost-deserted streets of York, the only sign that a band were making a triumphant homecoming appearance following six weeks of touring the UK is a queue of 30 or so shivering but excited teens outside the unprepossessing entrance to Fibbers.

The only thing you can see that betrays this band as something just a little bit special, with a top 10 single and top 20 album, is the large TV camera making sweeping runs of the queue. This band are One Night Only, and riding high from the success of their second single '‘Just For Tonight'’ and the aforementioned album, Started a Fire, a blend of cheeky love songs and new indie anthems, has carried them back to where it all started.

You show your ID, hand over your ticket and go inside.
