In the year that sees Vanbrugh, Alcuin and URY turn 40, we offer you the chance to win tickets to celebrate with Alcuin in style.

1968 saw the invention of two colleges, and the first student radio station in the country.

To help you get into the celebratory mood we're offering you the chance to win two tickets to the 'Decades' late licence event in Alcuin.

To win, all you have to do is enter the competition below before Monday 2nd June.

The event, on Friday 6th June 2008, is being held in B Henry's, and a tribute band will be setting the theme of the evening with classics from throughout the decades.

DECADES Late Licence

Date: Friday Week 7, Summer Term

Time: 9:00PM

Location: Alcuin - B-Henry's and Marquee

Alcuin's 40th Anniversary Celebrations bring you...

... DECADES..!!

Join us at B-Henry's and the specially erected marquee from 9pm for the last late licence of the term and join some alumni and your friends by dressing up as anyone famous, or influential from the last 4 decades.

Are you a Rolling Stone or a Beatle? A Spice Girl or a Girl Aloud?

The party starts with CopOwt, a specially selected cover band, playing tunes from the 1960s to the present day in marquee. Check them out at www.copowt.com. Then DJ Will Martin returns to Alcuin (the Das Sexy Sexy Techno Disco DJ) to take your dancing till the early hours.

The bar will providing drinks offers all night, including a special DECADES cocktail.
