In an exclusive video, The Yorker interviews key figures involved in organising this year's Big D event SinneD. The event, on Thursday Week 10, is proving to be one of the highlights of the year.

Michael Wilkins interviews Flick Saunders and Emma Warren, the Derwent vice-chairs whose responsibility it is to run Big D. The girls discuss ticket sales, headline acts and the realities of organising such a large event.

Choreographer Hayley Thompson reveals a sneak preview of the Little D dancers, filmed in Museum Gardens under dubious conditions. Footage obtained by The Yorker provides a teaser for what is in store.

Models Becky Young and Ngaio Simpson divulge their experiences of shooting the Big D promotion video.

Love the dancing - the masks are so eery. Also, does Becky Young look like she's gluttonous? Really? Great idea though, it's nice to see what goes on behind the scenes in preparation for Big D! Glad i got a golden ticket.
