556 votes for RON in the media elections - perhaps a suggestion people don't want someone from Vision or Nouse running things. Yorker candidate next time round?

Rumour has it Miss Holleran will be competing in York's Ultimate Lad tomorrow so she should do less live blogging and more drinking practice. Bit of banter training wouldn't hurt either

@Alan Belmore
Jake got 556 votes, RON got 98. How on earth you or The Yorker for that matter thought it was the other way round is beyond me. Also I'm not sure if you're aware but The Yorker aren't in YUM making their involvement slightly redundant.

#18 Chiifen Hiu
Fri, 4th Mar 2011 12:57pm

The Yorker would like to extend our sincerest apologies to both YUM Chair candidates this year Jamie Riley and Jake Farrell for the incorrect report on votes. The reports have been acknowledged as incorrect and retracted accordingly.

#19 Anonymous
Fri, 4th Mar 2011 2:21pm

@ 17 the yorker might not be part of YUM, but they are still a student-led media outlet reporting for the student body. so they have every right to want to be involved with any student-related event. actually some would probably say it makes sense.
