Money
Got a bright business idea?
Wednesday, 14th November 2007
Trying to get your business off the ground? The enterprise hub of campus CETLE and The Yorker.ltd have joined forces to bring you a chance to get investment for your business.

"The Pitch" is a competition for York students who want to try get a quick £100 investment. All you have to do is create a one minute video pitch of your idea, then enter the competition here.

Pitches can be submitted until the 26th November and you don't necessarily have to follow up the idea you pitched.

The Pitch was created by the two enterprises to help more students see that they can turn their business ideas into reality.

Judging over the different pitches will go on until the 12th December. Judging over who gets into the shortlist is by users - anyone can go on to vote for which entries they think are best.

Pitches should be short and punchy and deliver the idea quickly with high impact. Some of the questions you might answer in your pitch are: What is my idea? What problem am I solving? Why should you care? Why am I different?

A full tutorial on pitching guidelines can be found by setting up an account on our competition website here.
