Woodstock 2010
Monday, 28th June 2010
On Saturday Week 9 the sun was out and the shades were on for Woodstock 2010, which saw Vanbrugh College transformed into a festival ground hosting a variety of music, activities and events from midday to midnight. With attendance slowly rising throughout the day, it seems that RAG has once again organised a fun-filled day for all in the name of charity. Main stage headliners The Hung and Make it Better Later gave an entertaining if not pitch or note perfect ending to a day of fun ranging from pole exercises to fire juggling.

YSTV provided stellar coverage all day with live feeds of performances from the main stage in Vanbrugh paradise and from Vanbrugh dining hall, while URY kept the airwaves pumping round the clock. University societies added to the day’s fun and games, with decorations including a tepee from Art Soc, a pole display from the Pole Exercise Club, performances from Dance Soc and Fusion, an infectious “Macarena” from Cheesy Pop Soc and many more!

Now that the festivities are all over, The Yorker brings you some of the highlights from a sunny day of painted faces, plastic pints and smiles. Who needs Glasto, eh?

For a more detailed summary of the day’s events, see The Yorker’s Woodstock 2010 Live blog!
