(See what we did there? Like the love child of ‘Got milk’ and ‘You’ve been tangoed’)
Laura Reynolds looks at the hype surrounding the collaboration.
Just a week to go until the man in red arrives...
Daytime
As the sun seems to be gracing us with its presence at the minute why not embrace the rays and pop on some yellow for that trip to the library, or even better, the seaside. Yellow comes in all shades but daytime is the perfect opportunity to go for some brighter shades like this pleat front top from Oli, which is a bit of a bargain at £6. Topshop’s belt shorts are also perfect for summer although it’s probably not recommended that you wear these two together.
Evening
Evening would seem to call for something a little more mellow and this lovely dress from ASOS fits the bill perfectly. If you fancy something a little more formal for all those balls on the summer calendar then you’d most definitely be the belle in this dress from Monsoon.
Accessories
If a full on yellow outfit is a little too much for you then there are plenty of accessories out there to allow you to add a splash of sunshine to any outfit. To add some yellow attitude slip into these yellow opaque tights from Topshop. Or for a more subtle touch capitalise on this season’s trend for big bangles and mix yellow with dark wood for a tan-enhancing contrast.
Shoes
A pair of yellow heels are guaranteed to liven up that little black dress and ASOS has a great selection with everything from full on yellow to subtle buckle details. As everyone keeps telling us, wedges are in this season, so why not give the fashionistas a run for their money in these bright yellow wedges from Faith?
I noticed in town the other day that all the guys were wearing yellow shirts and t-shirts too. (Not sure that's quite as good a look, but still, 10 out of 10 for summery effort boys.)
