Santa was IN my bed!
Wednesday, 16th December 2009
Sexy secretaries, naughty nurses, malicious maids: sexual fantasies involve the strangest of characters. Centred on women with badly paid, largely servile professions involving the ugliest of uniforms, bedroom drama is a very eccentric genre.

The hottie and I have been frantically filming our porn video in time for the Christmas separation. Having exhausted a large portion of the Karma Sutra’s sex positions, we’ve resorted to fancy dress in order to add a finishing flourish to our masterpiece. Being such a fan of fancy dress, I relished the idea of sex in costume. I even turned my bedroom into a school classroom, for our theme was ‘seductive schoolgirl’.

Donning heels, a mini skirt, skimpy shirt, glasses and pigtails, I awaited Mr. Hottie eagerly with notepad and ruler in hand. Our improvisation skills are cringe worthy and we kept the plot short. While we both enjoyed our amateur foray into the world of theatre, the fantasy was a lot sexier in the secure realm of our imagination. The scenario was so awkward we hurriedly did the deed, quickly removing our clothes and thus dispelling the storyline. Perhaps I should find a hottie from Dramasoc...

Nevertheless, this experience highlighted several issues with the concept of role play. Why are the female roles always so plain? Everyday maids and nurses don’t usually infuse men with passion; surely they’d pick models or superstars to feature in their fantasies. I suppose it’s a lot harder to dress up as a model though. How pragmatic of men to chose such an achievable fantasy!

Perhaps it’s all about power. Mr. Hottie certainly called the shots as my school master. In that case, I’d love to play a policewoman to put him in his place.

While I’m slightly concerned that we’ve resorted to theatrics to spice up our sex life, I am eager to push the realms of bedroom drama. There’s something exhilarating about pretending to be someone you’re not, and I quickly found myself dominating the deed. I’m not the only one. According to Cosmopolitan, the average Essex girl spends 70 pounds a year on sex costumes. Now that’s impressive!

Role play can be quite healthy for a relationship. It reinstates an element of surprise that one night stands used to provide. Indeed, when done well, it can feel like you’re sleeping with a complete stranger. Kinky!

So why isn’t everyone doing it? Well half the couples I know are quickly becoming old married farts and probably have a sex schedule by the bed with a routine of their biweekly sex positions. They probably don’t even do foreplay. Chances are a lot of the other couples are doing role play. Whether in costume, or just by more conservative means such as being more aggressive sometimes, they enjoy a varied bedroom dynamic.

With Christmas approaching, Santa costumes are in abundance. Why not make the end of term memorable and have Santa make a personal visit to your bed? He won’t forget it and neither will you. It’s the crazy sex that we remember forever so make it happen.

LOL. You certainly know how to end a term with a bang don't you?
